On June 30, 2024, the second main promotional video for Season 2 of the anime "Oshi no Ko" and its theme song were released, and messages of anticipation have been received from Chinese fans.

"Oshi no Ko" is a manga series by Akasaka Aka (original story) and Yokoyari Mengo (art). The story follows a young protagonist, an obstetrician, who after his death is reborn as one of the children of his favorite idol, Ai Hoshino. It then delves into the truth behind Ai Hoshino's murder by a stalker. The work is known for its depictions of the entertainment industry's dark side and its suspense elements.

With the broadcast of the second season of the series approaching on the 3rd of this month, the second main promotional video was released. Additionally, it was revealed that GEMN (Gem), who sings the opening theme song "Fatal," is a unit consisting of Japanese singers Kento Nakajima and Tatsuya Kitani. It was also announced that the ending theme song will be "Burning," sung by the Japanese rock band Hitsujibungaku.

When multiple accounts on the Chinese SNS Weibo introduced this news, comments expressing anticipation for the broadcast gathered, such as: "So excited, so excited, so excited!", "The Tokyo Blade Arc (= Season 2) is a must-see!!", "It'll be here in no time.
